My mom has been an alumni of different Catholic schools like Dominican College and Miriam College. I think her decision to enroll us also in a Catholic school was motivated by the fact that her kids will grow up to be just like her - God-fearing, having Christian values, pursuing goals in life, family-oriented and to be a responsible member of the society in the near future. I was in Grade 1 when my mom enrolled me in Sacred Heart Catholic School of Cainta. In this school, we learned new things, lots of things, found good friends and great teachers to help us develop our skills and reach full potentials when we reach our mature age. The students in SHCSC although we are busy with school work we always find time to stop and pray, that is to say, to give what is more valuable - our time to God. Those even for just a brief moment we - students remember to acknowledge His presence in our lives. Now, I'm on my 10th grade and I feel truly blessed that I have reached this level, for me this is an achievement! I wish to convey my heartfelt thanks to all my teachers who have been very patient in helping us learn and best of all to my Mother, who trusted that the Lord will always be guiding us - her children, in every step of our journey by keeping us in a high standard Catholic School such as Sacred Heart!
